BLUE SHIELD: now using Guided Imaginary to reduce stress!!!

Tonight I was watching Netflex - searching on meditation on there.
I came across this movie...."New Medicine"

It was about patients who had illness and stress and when GUIDED IMAGINARY was used the recovery process was shortened.
The hospital invests $17 per CD and gives it to patients who are going to have surgery. They are less stressed before surgery and then heal faster.........
A woman's water broke in pregnancy at 26 weeks; too early to deliver. They gave her a CD and it reduced her stress and her body did not get infection from the stress....movie is still on so have not gotten to the part where she delivers or at what month.

Yes I believe that guided imagery can really help people heal both minds and bodies. Thanks for that link Deb, I will watch it later today. Did you watch Oprah yesterday, what a great show.

No!! I keep forgetting 
I always used to watch Oprah. Oprah's one of my favorite people.
She is the reason I found my birth mother in 5 days after never knowing her.
I have a journal from her company when she started Super Soul Sunday.
I meant to watch The Bible Series Premier also but unfortunately did not know it was on that early.
I have to make myself notes sometimes; too much to do.
As soon as I got home from work today after having to train the new manager on all my payroll, I ran to daughter's and she asked me to drive her to town.
We ended up eating at a Vietnamese restaurant in town after signing up my grandson for this years swimming competitions at the high school.
Then he informs us that he is going to join an additional rock band, or rather they want him in their band too. This kid's going to be famous one day; watch.
Did I tell you that he is playing drums now also. Has been doing it but his regular school music teacher from last year (he lost him this year because he went to the H.S.) just told him that he wants him next year (H.S.) again playing the base trombone in marching band and now drums. That teacher "gave" Gabe an old Base trombone three years ago. He was his star pupil. These two are connected somehow. He is going to get him somehow the teacher said a really expensive trombone. He is also going to get Gabe a Scholarship into one of the local universities in music. And his musical career all started with grandma used to sing lullabies to him on the trampoline when he was a toddler.
I'm beat tonight after having to do payroll and train at the same time today; then go home, drive daughter to town, eat and go to her house and we made breakfast burritos for the two men for the mornings. And Chicken burritos for her husband for lunches. Then I folded all her cloths and came home a 9pm.

Deb, Last Sundays show will be on 1hr prior to the new one next Sun, so you can watch it then. I also saw an old show with Shirley McLane and she mentioned a movie she made about Spirituality and I didn't catch the name so if you see that let me know the name or if anyone else is reading this I would appreciate if you post the name of the Movie. 
I just bought 2 of Shirley's book yesterday on Amazon for my Kindle. She was really before the time and still is!

I have to tell you about my radio appearance coming up soon.
Its pretty cool. I was just asked last Thurs I think it was. I will post it if I get an ok from the gal doing it. Then if anyone wants to listen they can.
I'm trying to get a hold of someone to be on it with me. SO I DON'T HAVE TO DO ALL THE TALKING I get nervous in groups...Can't see them but I know they are there.

Thanks Deb, I don't think it was any of them but I saw part of an old one when I was looking on Oprah's site and I think it was another part of that show. I will see it again someday I'm sure. Did you notice that necklace Shirley had on in the show above. Do you think it has something to do with Chakra's? All the different colors remind me of that.
