ELUSIVE

True love, apparantly
was'nt part of my destiny

No all consuming
burning aches for me

No memories were made
to the grave to take

Being loved was elusive
no emotion for me

Love was given
yet never received

Were my expectations too high
for anyones ability to meet

What are the odds
I still have time to meet

The love of my life
who can fullfill that need

That all consuming
burning hearts desire

That makes my arms to ache
my heart to skip a beat

For need of want and desire
Full of heat and fire

The kind that will so inspire
My mind to write

An amazing story
or some poetic harmony
