What did you do today?

I have had a crazy two days, a crazy week really.
Yesterday I went to Dunwich Woods with a friend.
We picnicked on the cliff top overlooking the sea, then walked to the Friary ruins, sat and chatted, finished our coffee, then walked thru the woods.
When I got back home, I sorted the food for my friends who were coming to join me around the firepit.
One didnt turn up so I phoned her mobile, for her to tell me she was in hospital!!!
After eating, we sat outside and my brother told us a story, ate some more, hot drinks, chat, laughs.
Was a fantastic night
The last one left at 12.05
I was absolutely worn out, didnt even wash before bed ....

Today, brother, daughter and I went to Dunwich Woods, we went to a different part, looked around the graveyard, walked in the wood, then onto Blythburgh Church where Black Shuck /Black Dog is supposed to haunt, back home,a cuppa and ordered a takeaway.
So tired again. I am not used to this exercise lol

So, what have you been doing today?

I have had such a lovely day

Breakfast on the sunny patio ... sounds posh! lol

My house is clean and tidy, washing got dry on the line.

Went to sons for their youngest's birthday tea.

Had a food fight and eldest g/son (they have 6 children) managed to stuff 7 party sausage rolls in my mouth lol

Home to find my friend had joined the board! YAAAAY!

Then we get another new member too

I have tidied the kitchen, washing in, folded and put away and a line full out for tomorrow.

Now I shall have a nap and then sort out some new threads

Today has been what you call a me day, i am pretty much doing alot of reading on our boards here. I read a little in a book i have, called the meaning of trees, it's such a wonderful book about the importance of our trees and how much symbolism they hold throughout our cultures. Trees are so Majestic and peaceful. It's cloudy here so i am inside for the day, i am looking to have baked chicken dinner tonight, which im looking forward to. I also tried that new divining practice that Laura added on a post called crumpled paper readings and that was alot of fun. I need Intutive practice so this was great. I will meditate sometime today about connecting with my spirit guide. It's a new practice i am looking forward to experiencing. Well for now that's all i can remember, this is a great topic thanks.

They are so important.
Aaah trees .. I love them.
I took son down to my copse, he leant against one of the trees and it spoke to him, but he had to fine tune in, like on a radio frequency.
I hear them easily, my friend explained its cos I live with them ..... didnt think of that ....

Today i am here reading some new posts as i love the energy here. I had breakfast but it was more like lunch turkey sandwich I just recently signed up for the reiki master course on a website called reiki blessings, and i will add more about that in my journal. It's sunny out and kind of warm high 50's. I also have some healings to do later in the day for people that need them. Have a great day my friends

I have that tree book as well Spirit Being
I do a divination method with ogham sticks..( trees lol)and old druidic symbols
and a green man divination which uses tree energy again and ogham energy combined... I made them from a tree in my yard....

I love love love the trees..
Spirit being do you have a tree in your yard?? or a tree you love a lot? I made my runes from a tree I planted in my front yard.. I will post eventually how I did it and how i made them etc if you like.... sorta a how to amke your own runes thing.. it infuses you and your personal dna into them which makes them more powerful.
