NY Taxi Driver Returns $21,000 Left In Cab.
Doesn't this story re-build your faith in the human race of today. This man will be re-warded in many ways, thanks to his honesty.
NY Taxi Driver Returns $21,000 Left In Cab
A cab driver who spent Christmas Eve driving miles to find an elderly woman who left thousands of dollars in his taxi has refused any reward.
Mohammad "Mukal" Asaduzzaman travelled nearly 80km (50 miles) to return more than $21,000 (£13,000) to a forgetful Italian grandmother.
Felicia Lettieri, 72, was in New York to visit relatives when she left the cash in his taxi outside the city's Penn Station.
Police had told Ms Lettieri not to get her hopes up that she would be reunited with her money, which was the travelling fund for her and six relatives, as well as passports and jewellery.
But while a lesser man might have been tempted to keep such riches, Mr Asaduzzaman, 28, took the high road.
The Bangladeshi driver, who is a pre-medical student living in Queens, spent hours searching for his errant passenger.
When he found no-one in at the Long Island address he found in her purse, he left his phone number and returned later with the money.
Ms Lettieri said of his actions: "It was so beautiful, so kind."
Mr Asaduzzaman, an observant Muslim, told the New York Post his philosophy: "When I was five years old, my mother told me, 'Be honest, work hard and you will raise your station.'"

How genuine and compassionate, if we were to put ourselves in his shoes how would we react?
I will answer my own question at first i may have many thoughts keep it, but i learned not to listen to those thoughts any more. In my life i dis-like money and do not care to touch the stuff. When i do touch it i get a dirty feeling not sure why, so i usually put it down very quickly. Most likely i would bring it to a police station, for him to sincerely care the way he did and search for this woman was Wonderful.
Many Blessings

mee too, I'd give it back. I think about the person that lost it. One time I was at a casino, and the bartender noticed a hundred dollar chip sitting on top of the machine that I had just sat at. He asked me if it was mine, I told him no. He told me to keep it, I told him that was not fair, what if the person realized that they had left it there and came back to claim it. I told him to hold on to it, and if by the end of the day, if no one claimed it, it would be a good tip for him.
Spirit Being it's funny what you said about holding money, I have a similar quirk. I do not like to touch dirty money, it feeeeeels yucky, sometomes I can't put it down fast enough. When I go to the bank I trade it for newer, cleaner money. I can tell I annoy the bank tellers, they avoid my eyes when I walk up looking for a teller, cause I always ask for "Pretty" money. (-:

Very Interesting Linda
I look at it this way everything seems to have an energy and when each bill is passed from one hand to another, it may actually take on a small amount of energy from each person whether positive or negative. Newer bills have not been circulated or handled by many people.
I remember some time ago during a Reiki Level I & II course, i was taught in the reading material to cleanse objects that were handled by many people, from unwanted energies. I purchased some Reiki Candles from Quantum Alchemy when i received the order i was very happy, but i remembered what i was taught in the Reiki course to cleanse objects like candles and incense before using them. Now i don't see myself cleansing money but it seems to explain why i feel the way i do when i touch money.
Thanks Linda i thought i was the only one who felt this way
Many Blessings

Thank you Spirit-Being. It makes sense now, why I do not like the way old money feels. Never realized that I could feeeel energy that way. On the other hand, I do love old books, I like the way they feeeeel, must be positive energy on the old books that I have picked up.
