Damn, what should I do

I have learned that missed opertunities are just that, missed situations. Now to make a long story short, 2 and a half years ago, I made the decision to move out of this city to calgary. Although I wasnt happy with the way work went ( the reason i moved back), I experienced things there I could no where else.

I havnt really been working since i moved back here ( april), and I havnt really seen any good jobs. I do want to go back to school, which would be easier in my hometown, but there are many more ways to do schooling out there. I also could have a place to stay untill i get on my feet as well, and I made some good friends while i was there.

Now each place has their pros and cons. In calgary I have no family but my sister. And all my life long friends are of course in T BAY. I am happy in both cities. Here in tbay, i always have a place to stay, I have friends that I can go hang out with almost anytime, I can go to school here and be able to afford it fairly well. But finacial security is a problem here. Im 24, and I need my own space, and being at my parents house ATM, as much as I love them, is starting to take its toll ( we all get that at my age I think, growing up sucks in some ways lol).

Now in calgary, im pretty sure i can find a job if need be. I have a few friends offering me places to stay for a bit. I have lots of friends, and there is lots of things to do and discover ( did you know one of the world chakras (a crown shakra) point is in alberta (I havnt been able to pin point the area but its in the area between calgary banff, jasper and edmonton)).

Im trying to do whats better for my overall happiness now. The only main thing is, even though all my friends are very good people, this city is almost like a black hole. Highest murder rate per capita in the country, same as crime rate ( i know its in the top 5 at least), massive drug use. They all destroy the cites true beauties ( If youve never heard of thunder bay, its 8 hours east of Winnipeg, in north western ontario, its 100 000 people in the middle of the boreal forest, and right on the western shore of lake supirior, a true outdoorsman paridice).

In calgary i was physicaly better, ate better, walked and in many ways I was much happier there. I was ther ein july fer 2 days, and i honestly felt rejuvinated for about 2 weeks. Its by 2 of the best known canadian and beautiful national parks ( bandd and jasper), and some of the oldes known rocks, and ancient animals are found aroound there ( drumheller and burgess shale). The onluy thing that really brought me down is not seeing my family and friends from home, and at the very end what happened at work ( I now understand why that happened).

Anything said on the matter would be appreciated. I think some things at the least happen for a reason, but we are still able to mold the world around us and make choices. This is something that I have been thinking of since i moved back here and I cant come to a conclusion in any ways. I think now I came back jut to de stress and come to term with a few things and make some relizations. There are many things that I have figured out or have thought about in my entire life , but only since february and now have they made sence. I know im ready to start my life on a better path, but in my eyes there are many paths to take. The "cross roads" in life happen many times in our life, but ive stayed a bit behind, i think, and only in the last few years, it seems like ive lived 6 almost. It just hit me one day what i should do in sschool ( i never knew even as a kid), i relized about my spiritual side and I belive i can finally start my journey. But i cant really find the path that i I should take.

You were always on a spiritual path even if you didn’t realize it. Every step you take is the path you should be on.
I too believe that things happen to you for a reason but I also understand that you are part of the reason. In other words, you create your life and by doing so, you co-create the world and universe we live in.
Where you are in this life, in regards to the awakened state you are in, I believe that you can only but create a better life for yourself and for all of mankind.
Its all connected, keep creating based on you heart felt instincts and everything will be just perfect. No matter what you choose.

Go with your natural Instincts (gut feelings) Canadianmind, your first Instincts, and dont let anyone change your mind, they usually are the right ones, saying that your family are so very very important and I can see how this is influencing on your choice, your friends if they are true friends will always remain just that, wherever you choose to move too..

ok here is my suggestion to you Canadianmind.I would first go someplace by my self either in my room and sit quietly and just listen to your heart on all the pros and cons of each place you were speaking about.the advantages and disadvantages,perhaps write them down on a piece of paper to look at in front of you.this will give you a visual look at things you may not see or realize just by thinking about them.it will make a clearer picture for you to decide what is best for you to do.Good luck in what ever you decide i just know you will make the right decision.

Great Feedback i really would like to help but at the moment i am in need of help, i know i need to start praying again and meditation. I would like to say canadianmind you have friends here and they are very Loving, i know in life i go through cycles, these cycles are hard to break it reminds me of the metaphor of getting off the wheel of rebirth. You are where you need to be at this very moment as i believe WhiteShaman touched on this in another post. Look for the silver lining in everything you do, you will see many wonderful things where you sit right now look around there are signs everywhere, and you have a purpose for why you are where you are at this very moment. Maybe you are here to help someone, or to guide someone in a direction they need to go. Whatever the reason know that you are Divine & anything outside of this is an experience that you probally need to go through to awaken.

Thanks White shaman, I think i should just save up cash just in case, and when the time comes, see what is right. But to be honest i think i felt happier there

Vanilla: If i followed by guts, id be in australia, or greece or somewhere else, for a few years:P. Or at the very least id be rash and just get a ticket and go to calgary lol. The best thing is when i came back i had all my old friends as well, I concider myself very lucky to have good friends.

Its odd that you speak of cycles in our lives, according to the 13 moon calender, we go through cycles bases on our galactic signature, 13 years, around 4 times, so there are inevitivly 4 stages in our lives, with 57 yearly cycles .

I have always seen myself as a person who sees the good in everyone and gives everyone a fair chance, and there have been many signs that i think ive seen, which is what prompted me to write this.
