If you are successful, you win false friends and true enemies,
SUCCEED ANYWAY
The good you do will be forgotten tomorrow,

Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable,
BE HONEST AND FRANK ANYWAY
What you spend years building may be destroyed over night,
BUILD ANYWAY
People really need help but may attack you if you help them,
HELP PEOPLE ANYWAY
Give the world the best you have and you'll get kicked in the teeth,
GIVE THE WORLD THE BEST YOU'VE GOT ANYWAY.

yes as i read in the Bible some where where God said if someone smacks your right cheek turn the other cheek and let him slap that one too.keep on doing the best you can and give all that you can,for the goodness and kindness that we sow will surely not go to harms way.Well said WhiteShaman thank you for posting that by Mother Teresa. :lovesigh:

So true WhiteShaman i can remember times when this has happened to me. The toughest thing for me out in the world whether at work or at home was to be myself for being criticized for allowing the spiritual to flow freely through me. The concepts i held onto were limiting me from my fullest potential. I knew i needed to change but did not know how. Until i began speaking with other like minded people, and opening up. I now have moved forward with much progress being made, there's still much more work to be done. I just need to incorporate what i have learned here from all of you, other people & all of life and give back to all Living Beings. The toughest thing for me is to do this face to face with other people, it is very easy for me to express how i feel and be very open here. But out there in the world it is tough, your post WhiteShaman is exactly what i struggle with and i know that by reading this, it has shown me were i am at in this life and what i must begin to do. Fear is a huge obstacle when it comes to saying what i need to say to people out in the world, i will work on overcoming this Fear no matter how difficult it may be.

My thoughts are this:
I think it’s unfortunate that our society sees true spirituality in a negative way. I think it’s very normal to feel uneasy about expressing yourself around those who simply will or can not understand. I know I do!
The way I see it is that it’s OK to feel this way but it’s not OK to not listen to my higher self and speak when urged to speak or remain silent when urged to remain silent.
We must always be true to ourselves.
