What If God Stops Loving You.

Author: Unknown

What if,
God couldn’t take the time to bless us today
Because we couldn’t take the time to thank Him yesterday ?

What if,
God decided to stop leading us tomorrow
because we didn’t follow Him today ?

What if,
We never saw another flower bloom
because we grumbled when God sent the rain ?

What if,
God took away the Bible tomorrow
because we wouldn’t read it today ?

What if,
God wook away His message
because we failed to listen to the messenger ?

What if,
God didn’t send His only begotten son
Because He wanted us to be prepared to pay the price for sin ?

What if,
The door of the church was closed
because we didn’t open the door of our heart ?

What if,
God stopped loving and caring for us
because we failed to love and care for others ?

What if,
God wouldn’t hear us today
because we didn’t listen to Him yesterday ?

What if,
God answered our prayers
the way we answer His call to service ?

Very Powerful Questions Vanilla2, I will say that at the moment i am feeling a little spacey, but i will share some things that came to me when i read these questions. It would be very hard for me to imagine any of these things happening in my life. I only say this because i have come to know through my experiences that God Truly Loves us and will never turn away from us no matter what. We all have a part of God within us, people have free will and can turn us away, but not God he Loves us so much. But i will say that these questions do make you think what if... Thanks for posting them Vanilla2 everything i read here always helps me.

Many Blessings

Very good questions vanilla2. many people fall short when it comes to reading religious texts. When we find truths sometimes we tend to forget it .However i feel that no matter what name you call your God or what your spiritual beliefs , i feel that we all know that there is a power that guides us. I know in my heart that no matter how bad i mess up , i will still be loved .

I like these questions

especially if he didn't send his son
to die for our sins.....

not only, what if, God was one of us
just a stranger on the bus....

but what if Jesus never existed
who would have been our model
of gentility...?

wow, I have to think about that...

my first thought is there must have been
examples of goodness before him....

hmmmm

I have to think......LOL...excuse me :help:

Personally, the longer I live and watch the goodness that comes out of humankind, especially when catastrophes strike, I know beyond a shadow of doubt that mankind is inherently good. All you need to do is look within and replay your life's journey and you will most certainly see many examples of pure goodness.

Thank you all for your thoughts and input.
To me, one message that comes across loud and clear in this poem is, just how much in life we take for granted. I think this poem illustrates that we should stop and rethink our strategy.

This was very thought provoking sunmystic, i really enjoyed reading this what i got from it is, no matter how much we fail to acknowledge God and the good works that God does, God is always there for us waiting. When we finally acknowledge God for the good works in our world we move to a place of infinite wisdom directly from the source. Dreaming

Smile that is the way it seems to me Spirit-Being. A lot of folks (including me for awhile) are under the impression that there are a lot of things that are God's fault. The only way that I could come to grips with this is that, if God can forgive me, then I also can forgive Him. And we both start over, and see where things go. So far so good.

Several years ago, I did a question/answer thing.
I wrote down a question and waited to write the answer.
The very first one I did was asking who God was, cos I cannot get my head round the idea of a 'man in the sky' type being.
If I find my writing, I will post it.
I may already have actually.

They say there is an answer to every question, yet why so many questions still unanswered. I guess some things we will just never get to find out, or maybe we will when our time comes, and we leave this world, will all come clear. who knows.

Truly understanding God is a reality that is beyond words and pictures. God can be understood if one is not expecting that understanding to be explained with words or pictures.

What If. Empty Re: What If.

Post by Spirit-Being March 18th 2012, 5:12 pm

My apologies, vanilla posted this at the top and i must have replied to it earlier and when i saw a new post from Sunmystic i had forgot the original at the top, but i want to thank both Vanilla & Sunmystic for starting and keeping this post active. Yeah i don't have a picture of what God looks like, i also cannot wrap my head around God being a man in the sky.

Many years ago i read posts about god some prefer to say he and some prefer to say Masculine/Feminine aspects of god. Whether either of these make sense or not i like to think that God whether some celestial body of physical matter or on a more spiritual plane, is made up of everything we are. We are part of all creation and the universe, i feel we all have feminine and masculine within each of us. So i feel that God must have as well. I see God as a great energy of light always loving and kind. I feel this energy always it is what i love to share with others which is LOVE. I know much of what i am is because of what i have read in books or was told throughout my life growing up. So for a time i needed to know who God was to me, and yes i got my answer. We all have questions and as Vanilla said there is an answer to every question.

To get an answer now that takes a strong will, desire, and openness that you will receive an answer to your question. There have been many times a question would pop in my mind, and i really wanted to know the answer, but my limited mind prevented me from actually receiving the answer, and i still go through this quite often.

One of the quotes i will never forget and i believe it is in the Bible as Jesus spoke these words

"Ask and you shall receive" Angel-2

If we believe we can't get an answer to our question as it may be too big for us to understand then we won't, our mind can limit valuable information. One thing i have learned is we each get information differently and these answers that we are blessed to receive are for the progression of our paths we lead on earth. BlueFish

Would love to read what you have wrote Mia, if you can find it and want to share.

Post by mia March 18th 2012, 5:44 pm

I wasn't sure whether to post it or not.
I don't want to upset or offend anyone, so, please forgive me if this is what happens.

April 6, 2006
Q. Please would someone of the Light tell me who god is?

A. God is love and light he is all there is.
In the wind the trees the flowers birds and bees.
He is in you and me he is everywhere there is.
In a babys laugh and cry.
In an old mans sigh.
He is everywhere you look, even in this book.

Q. Thank you, who are you?

A. I am The Hand of God.

Q. Thank you Hand of God.
You have answered me, but I still dont understand.
I shall rephrase the question.
Is God an energy or spirit, is he solid?

A. God is light loving energy, he is everywhere, in the air you breathe, the food you eat and the water you drink.

Q. ok, thank you.
In the bible it says we were made in Gods image.
So, if God is everywhere like you say - he cant look like us then, so the bible is wrong, right?

A. Those words you write have been misinterpreted. You were originally made as loving beings, gentle and innocent - that is the interpretation.
You needed bodies to keep you warm and bones to keep you stable and organs so you could breathe and keep you clean inside.
When you return to God you will be just like him and you will then know all.

Thank you Hand of God

I became a bit overwhelmed at what I was doing, so finished the conversation, I could have gone on a lot longer.

What If. Empty Re: What If.

Post by Vanilla2 March 19th 2012, 5:59 am

Good question. The way I see it, God is our creator, owner of the universe, possibly is the universe. ( Like Mia says, is in our trees, air and water. ) How much he/she/it, as in matter, owns, I'm not sure. Astronomer's are forever exploring further, as there equipment becomes more powerful, and new planets, stars and what ever other things lay in space, just waiting to be found, are added on to the list. But what is beyond, and out of view, does that mean another sun, another moon exists, another God/owner, a different creator maybe, if that is posible. Although not sure whether we can have more than one creator of space, as space itself is a whole. Life must exist somewhere else, other than our life as we know it. Or if no life now, there has been.
I'm just undecided whether its feasible to have more than one God, apart from the many Gods of other religion's. Hope I dont come across as too contradictory.

Mia, your answers correlate very closely to the answers that I got using basically the same line of questioning. My source of information was what I call the intuitive mind.

Vanilla, I do not hardy think that you are too contradictory. I came to the conclusion that it is not feasible to have more than one God and that that one God is the sum total of all gods. Everything is a part of this one God. One can visit with the parts or one can visit with the whole. And the key to the parts and the whole is the heart center. The parts that I am inclined toward exist in a reality that is based on positive heart energy; the parts that I am "not" inclined toward exist in a reality that is not based on positive heart energy.

I am in agreement with all the wonderful wisdom shared here. I too was on a forum sometime ago many years back, it was a gnostic forum and i had all these questions pouring through me of what God was or is and i too could not hold back asking these questions on the forum. The answers people shared were so helpful, and helped me to look within myself to find this God. I got a wonderful answer in meditation "Light" which i didn't quite understand exactly what that meant, until right now. Light is light and it's free flowing it flows here and there, letting Light in to dissolve all those illusions, opening up to the free flowing energy the Beauty of all of creation. Then can we fully connect with what and who God is. Hope this was not too confrontational i started typing and that is what was coming to me.

Post by Vanilla2 March 20th 2012, 3:45 pm

Changing subject a little. When I was young, my parents told me of heaven and hell. All good children go to heaven, bad children, go to hell. Satan or the Devil versus God. Yet now I am grown adult, I no longer believe in the devil, so I now ask myself, if I dont believe in the devil, why do I still believe in God, when neither have I seen.
And of course I do believe in God our creator.
