Hi Joan,
You would feel at home here. I think it's similar to England, our weather and all. A little further north of us is Victoria, British Columbia (Canada) which just reeks of English Culture!
If you are ever over here, be sure to give me a heads up and you'll have a place to stay.

Thanks Mike, that sounds good and very kind of you.....Who knows in the future....always wanted to visit Canada and that area of the country.
Can I bring me British flag with me?
Might just pop down and visit Taurus in Florida.....
I do regret never visiting Canada,in fact I can't even remember if I have ever met any Canadians.
Also the same to you,Mike.....you ever decide to visit the British Isles, look me up!
Joan xx

Yes, you could bring your British flag!
I have a number of very good British friends in the area. And, as I said, just up north in Canada you will find a lot of British culture. Even here, in Vancouver you will find a British Tea House and all.... after all we were a British Colony (the Hudson Bay Company).
I adore Canada by the way.

It sounds a wonderful country,Mike. I love the photos you send....that waterfall was a dream. Reminds a lot of Oz. Without the heat....
Australia is a beautiful country but oh...the temps there can get you down. Even on the beach in the summer,no shade on the beaches. Horrific.
