Crucifixion and resurrection Empty Crucifixion and resurrection

Post by 23luda23 August 4th 2009, 12:32 pm

True power is not in trying to gain power; true power is in becoming power. But how to become power? It requires an attempt to make a definite change in oneself, and that change is a kind of struggle with one's false self. When the false self is crucified, then the true self is resurrected. Before the world this crucifixion appears to be lack of power, but in truth all power is attained by this resurrection.

I see so much of myself to be false even though i always try and speak the truth, there is still untruths within me that have not been seen, seeing these untruths is a slow process and little by little the false being within will begin to fade.

Just a thought from gregg braden.

What if jesus was just an ordinary man, who truely knew the truth about ourselves, adn therefore was able to access the true powers of ourselves???

I agree with this statement or thought, except as much as this is my truth..I would still fall to my knees if this ordinary man stood before me.
The suffering I sense that he endured out of love for mankind, which was close to being lost forever back then, is mind boggling and worthy of all respect and honor.
The effect he has had on humanity and its evolution is unsurpassed!
Yet as honorable and awesome as he is, he is still my brother and I can be all that he was and is as I grow in knowledge of my true self. This he has taught me!
Great post canadianmind!
Peace and Blessings,

It also can explain by what he meant by saying " I am inside you all", and "god is in our hearts". All we have to do is look into outselves and love and respect.

But my no means do I mean there is no god. To me god is the spiritual web that connects everything together. Which once again goes with what many religions say about there god or gods.
