A walk to remember
This is a movie that has inspired me in many ways, one day my girlfriend & her daughter asked me to watch this movie i kept brushing it aside and automatically judging that i wouldn't like it. But one day it was on television and i watched it with full intensity i could not move from the spot i was in and i cried like a baby. One of the best movies i have ever watched. I have learned you cannot judge a book by its cover and assuming that you will not like something might be a huge mistake it was in my case. I am just grateful that i got a chance to see this movie. Hope you enjoy it...

Re: A walk to remember
I love this movie its very moving. There are many teachings in it. The main teaching i got from it is that true love is unconditional, and faith is our guiding light.

Re: A walk to remember
I had this movie set around for many months before I actually watched it. Because of the cover I was not really interested until I had nothing to do I decided to watch it. I was very surprised and I loved the movie. :love3:
You are right about the judging something by its cover. And sometimes the cover and the descriptions looks very promising but end up to be a waste of time. The only way to know it is to watch the movie.

Re: A walk to remember
Found this really inspiring, thought i would share it with all of you.
I commend Mandy Moore. While her pop counterparts went off to make self-indulgent drivel (Mariah Carey in the godawful Glitter and Britney Spears in the laughable Crossroads), Moore took the higher road and came out with the wonderfully crafted A Walk to Remember. I use the word wonderful because that is truly what this movie is—a beautiful, captivating film that reminds me why I love the movies. If you're surprised to be reading this, just imagine the shock on my face when I saw this movie. I am somewhat ashamed to admit that I went in with a closed heart and a cynical foot one step though the door. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that I expected to be writing a scathing review of this film ala Carey's Glitter by now. A Walk to Remember sneaked up on me and played my heartstrings like they were bound to the end of a yo-yo.
The performances are all winning, especially Mandy Moore and Shane West as the romantic leads.
What made this movie so good? To start with, it's the film's stunning lack of cynicism. After such a long spate of mean teen movies, A Walk to Remember is like breathing in pure oxygen. It features three universal themes and morals that need to be heard: be yourself at all times, let yourself open to love, and above all else, experience the wonders of faith. In today's world what could be more important?
