Memories

Yesterday, I was visiting a client who lived near a wood.
In 2004, I was working for another company, where I would take a shortcut through the woods on my rounds.
At this time, I was just awakening and had met another online who, like me, was struggling to understand and get through each day.
We came to realise we were soul sisters, had so much in common and knew what each was thinking, feeling etc.
Also, because of what was happening to me, I came to understand how the woods/trees, calmed and healed me.
I would spend many hours in a week, walking and resting among these trees.
I joined an alien meditation group and unknown to me, I brought an 'alien' home with me, it was attached to my aura.
All I knew was I was very unwell.
This friend I had met, found she could take it from me, distantly, and sent it back home.
We found so much we could do, spending hours on msn talking, swapping stories.
I already knew my guide and found I could tell her who hers was, our guides swapped over and played games with us.
We learnt to project and astral travel ...... so much more happened, too much to share here.
We had so much fun, laughter and tears those evenings.

This all came back to me when I decided to revisit these woods yesterday.
I leant against a tree, just reliving the memories.

I am still in touch with this friend and often go and visit her and her family who accepted me into their lives.

Why is it that memories always seem to be happier after the events have occurred?

I have wonderful memories of years ago like days out in sun,swimming in the ocean,walking through the surf,buying that new dress I always wanted.    Why do not memories occur like that again?

I do have some wonderful memories that were as magical then as remembering them.
And we will have more memories just as good.
Keep an open mind and heart and they will happen

More memories tonight!
I have been tidying up my 'spiritual journey' folders.
And found some of my early dreams and meditations.
I have a soul brother, another I met online, and a few years ago, met in person in Glastonbury.
He has his own website and business now, a spiritual one, tarot and readings, he is excellent, a very humble man.
Anyway, I am rambling again lol
This man would interpret my dreams and meds and I still have the print outs!
I thought I had thrown them out!
I am so glad I didn't.
Gosh they took me back.
One was even on the eve of my dads funeral in 2008.

In the above post, I wrote about the one who used to interpret my dreams, finding the print outs etc.
And today, he sends me a link and invite to his new fb page!

Memories are good.    Sometimes memories are bad.    But I feel that if we didn't have either memories,we would lose the recordings of our life.
Do you ever feel that memories of both,past and present,help to keep us on line and stop us making further mistakes through our life?
