A Moderators In Training Program (MIT)
Guys, if I had any pull around here I would like to start and run a "Moderators In Training" (MIT) program. And invite all new members and old members, if they wish, to join it. These MITs would be invited to pick out one or more forums (with a limit of three to start with) that they are interested in and under guidance and supervision become moderators of these one or more forums. That would make everybody who is interested, even though they are new, a part of things. And those that are good at it or at least maintain an interest at it could become permanent moderators of those forums. The problem with being "staff" on a message board is that a person can get burned out. So a MIT program would also be a way of training a new generation of "staff" under the guidance of some of the older "staff". The goal of the MITs and its supervising staff would be to find ways to make the forums that they are interested in "fun", "interesting", and "informative". And also exploring the art of diplomacy in a social group. To my knowledge no other message board is doing this, so doing this would not only create interest and activity for new members, and old members if they wish, it also would create a uniqueness and a training service that other message boards at this point do not have. I know that in the end, that it is Spirit Being's decision, but I would like to present the concept here before it is possibly presented to Spirit Being. sunmystic

Tell us about yourself : I’m a widow; I lost my spouse April 16, 1999 to a broken heart and Cancer. He was a Native American. I have lived on his Reservation in California for 37 years. We were married 23 years. We had two children, lost one to a drunk driver in 97 before my spouse died. I started my spiritual journey when son passed; but woke up to spirituality abruptly June 2009 when I had an event reading by James Van Praagh and he brought through eight deceased relatives. I would love to be a medium in the future, and share that spiritual connection with those who have lost. I take photos of spirits in clouds. One of my favorite spirit photographs at night is an apparition of a Native American Male.
