Elightenment Empty Elightenment

“According to Vedanta, there are only two symptoms of enlightenment, just two indications that a transformation is taking place within you toward a higher consciousness.

The first symptom is that you stop worrying. Things don't bother you anymore. You become light-hearted and full of joy.

The second symptom is that you encounter more and more meaningful coincidences in your life, more and more synchronicities.

And this accelerates to the point where you actually experience the miraculous.

(quoted by Carol Lynn Pearson in Consider the Butterfly)” ~Deepak Chopra.

Awesome love this Enlightened

I know this is for everyone but Circle of Friends

How did you know i needed to read this today lol

I worry quite often a little too much, and i know that i am still on that Journey of Self Discovery. I worried too much about what other people were doing, and i didn't understand why i was at a standstill in my life. Each day i feel i am moving closer back to the path i need to walk. I strayed a bit but the time is now to follow it once again. Who am i? that is a question i ask myself when i have wandered from my path. Usually my answer is i have no idea right now. But the not knowing who i am, helps me see that i really do want to know me better.

Why is it there are those lulls in lifes journey?

If only i could understand this, it would help me to realize when it happens what am i suppose to learn and move on.

I too am not quite there.

I don't know the words to use, but, how I answer my questions is by asking another question.

For instance, I posted about my money worries.
Then I asked myself, what is the worst that could happen.
My answer .... my electric and gas and water and sewage would be cut off and my land lord would throw me out.

Then I asked myself what would happen then, where would I live.
My answer ..... I have family and friends, none would let me be homeless.
And I dont need belongings, just me, my mind, my health and people who love and respect me, thats all I need.

About lulls in your journey ....

Its when we are being prepared for the next chapter on our journey.
Its a time for grounding, being human, laughing, loving, cleaning, sorting.
Doing earthy things, gardening, swimming, whatever needs doing, a tidying up.

Then you are all prepared for the next bit.

It doesn't really matter who you are. You are YOU.
There is only one of YOU, just one.
YOU are unique and part of a jigsaw only YOU can make whole.

Do the best YOU can, however YOU can and whenever YOU can.
Be true to YOUrself.
And YOU cannot go wrong .... trust me Smile

Big help Mia words of encouragement just what i needed. I understand a little better now when the lull comes use that for grounding and connect more with physical life, is that what being balanced means?

Physical and Spiritual are they separate?

I see them both as spirals, spiraling around each other.

No, spiritual and physical are not separate, though we believe them to be.
I am just learning this actually.
We can live a spiritual life daily, by being true to ourselves, treating all one meets with love and respect.
Being honest and doing ones best in all we do.
Being humble and grateful.

Gosh I am on one tonight aren't I? lol

Every new thing you learn and do is energy.. During the quiet times in your life your body is assimilating this new energy.
You may feel worry, weepy, find yourself even crying. Thing is your body trying with all it has to get the new energies adjsuted. Spreading them out etc. It is why at any given moment you may experience restless legs or hand tremors or headache. Things you may not normally experieence and often never feel again. It is the bodies spinning and balancing and making room for the next wave of knowledge and vibrations to come in.
Often we even are made ill so that we have to stand still to allow it to happen. We are given knowledge then allowed to absorb it before we get more or we would mentally and physically overload.
The more we can go to nature, connect to trees etc to help keep us grounded the more we get and the faster we get it.

Do you believe PAIN grounds us to our spiritual path?

Dear Laura Ann,
Pain is a subjective thing. It is also a threshold of nerve activity.
It is well known that soldiers in battle can be wounded and
do not feel pain. Our higher centres can block nerve impulses
so pain is not felt.
Pain is influenced by attitude. Some cultures are more sensitive to
pain than others.Belief plays a huge role.
There is the saying of "may I be worthy of my pain"
I think this sort of attitude could be an aid in a spiritual path.
Some may even welcome pain as a challenge to their devotion .
To conclude I would say attitude is the key if pain is a positive or a negative.
And unfortunately pain does seems to teach something.

that makes a lot of sense.. explains why even in childbirth some women scream to the top of their lungs and others just grimace and breathe through it.
definately food for thought in your words
