Natural Cycles For Life...
Excerpt from watchtower.org continuation of Was Life Created..
Natural cycles for life
If a city’s supply of fresh air and water were
cut and its sewers blocked, disease and death
would soon follow. But consider: Our planet is
not like a restaurant, where new food and supplies
are shipped in from outside and garbage is carted
away. The clean air and water we depend on are
not shipped in from outer space, nor is waste matter
rocketed out. So how does the earth remain
healthy and habitable? The answer: the natural cycles,
such as water, carbon, oxygen, and nitrogen
cycles, explained here and shown simplified.
The water cycle:
Water is essential to life.
None of us can live without it for more than
a few days. The water cycle distributes fresh,
clean water around the planet. It involves
three stages. (1) Solar power lifts water into
the atmosphere by evaporation. (2) Condensation
of this purified water produces clouds.
(3) Clouds, in turn, form rain, hail, sleet, or
snow, which falls to the ground, ready to evaporate
again, thus completing the cycle. How much
water is recycled annually? According to estimates,
enough to cover the earth’s surface uniformly
to a depth of more than two and a half feet.
The carbon and oxygen cycles:
As you know,
in order to live you need to breathe, to take in
oxygen and give out carbon dioxide. But with
countless billions of humans and animals doing
the same thing, why does our atmosphere never
run out of oxygen and become overloaded with
carbon dioxide? The answer lies in the oxygen
cycle. (1) In an amazing process called photosynthesis,
plants take in the carbon dioxide that
we exhale, using it and the energy from sunlight
to produce carbohydrates and oxygen. (2) When
we take in oxygen, we complete that cycle. All
this production of vegetation and breathable air
happens cleanly, efficiently, and quietly.
The nitrogen cycle:
Life on earth also depends on the production of such
organic molecules as proteins. (A) To produce those
molecules, nitrogen is needed. Happily, that gas makes
up about 78 percent of our atmosphere. Lightning
converts nitrogen into compounds that plants can absorb.
(B) Then plants incorporate those compounds into organic
molecules. Animals that eat those plants thus also
acquire nitrogen. (C) Finally, when plants and animals die,
the nitrogen compounds in them are broken down by
bacteria. That process of decay releases nitrogen
back into the soil and atmosphere, completing the cycle.
Perfect recycling!
Humans, with all their advanced technology,
create countless tons of unrecyclable
toxic waste annually. Yet, the earth
recycles all its wastes perfectly, using ingenious
chemical engineering.
How do you think the earth’s recycling
systems arose? “If the Earth’s ecosystem
had truly evolved by chance alone, it
wouldn’t possibly have been able to reach
such a perfect level of environmental harmony,”
says religion and science writer
M. A. Corey. Do you agree with his conclusion?
Teeming with life:
No one knows how many species
there are on earth. Estimates vary
from 2 million to 100 million.6 How
pervasive is life on our planet?
Earth: Just one hundred grams
(3.5 ounces) of soil has been found
to host 10,000 species of bacteria,7
not to mention the total number of
microbes. Some species have been
found almost two miles underground!
Air: In addition to the birds, bats, and
insects that fly through the air, the atmosphere
is filled with pollen and
other spores, as well as seeds and
—in certain areas—thousands of different
kinds of microbes. The diversity of
microbial life in the air is “on par with
the diversity of microbes in the soil,”
says Scientific American magazine.
Water: The oceans remain largely a
mystery because in order to study
the watery deep, scientists often have
to use costly technology. Even coral
reefs, which are relatively accessible
and are well-surveyed, may host millions
of yet unknown species.
Did this impressive variety of life arise
by chance? Many would agree with
the poet who wrote: “How many your
works are, O Jehovah! All of them in
wisdom you have made. The earth is
full of your productions.”—Psalm
104:24.

Bless you ATouchofHeart for taking the time in reading this. Some people in this world dont even, or wont ever, give it a thought.
It is so easy to take things for granted with the philosophy as to " as long as we have air to breath, water to drink, some will feel that it doesn't matter where or how it came to be.

Re: Natural Cycles For Life...
What it all boils down to is that Human's Take Life and Earth for Granted.
No one stops to think about how things work.
If we were taught this in the beginning in baby steps in preschool each generation would be "aware" of how it all works.
Without it all there would not be our Mother Earth.
And we need to be in gratitude for all that we are given and take for granted.
I'm happy to report that I had the first inspiration in getting a recycling program going in our community. Did community recycling workshops and ordered the truck and bins for community. I always had fun going to the preschools and explaining the recycling program.
It's all quite amazing....... the Natural cycles for life
to you Vanilla2 for reminding us of what we should actively be remembering and acting upon. If you don't mind...I am going to post it on my FB page for all my friends.....

Now that is interesting,Vanilla.

That is a question I ask myself Aussiepom. Where there are moons and suns, to me there must be other life. And the universe, space, holds more than our eye can see.

I often wonder if the powers to be on our world in this present time, are looking for a planet like Earth.
So many reports are now being given on every and each new planet that is discovered through time, whether they are suitable for human existence.
It does make one wonder.....

Re: Natural Cycles For Life...
Two interesting planets there. Thanks Vanilla,I've always been keen on reading about space and the planet which populate the universe.
I too like the 2nd one. But I can imagine the immense changes living on that planet compared to earth.
I wonder how our future generations will cope with those changes.

Re: Natural Cycles For Life...
In a lot of the books I've read about reincarnation they mention that we can live on other planets during our life times, so I believe that they exist now. We just haven't found them or we have and just aren't talking about it. Have you ever read the books by J D Robb, they are about us living in the future and traveling back and forth between earth and other planets where life exist. I always find those books very interesting.

Re: Natural Cycles For Life...
It is hard to distinguish between reality. Do we, can we already flit between other worlds? What are dreams? are they telling of something past, or something to come?
I once dreamed I stood on the moon, alongside a rocket, looking out to our earth planet, was it a dream or was that reality, sure seemed real to me.

I believe in that. I cannot see any reason,if we live on one planet, why can't we exist on another.

I think dreams take us to places that we cannot imagine.
Those kind of dreams I would say are Lucid dreams. Connected to Astral travel.

Vanilla, I asked our dream interrupter on our last site if she should answer this. Here is what she said.
There have been so many images of what the astronauts could see of earth that it may just be a stored image/memory from one of them that she used in the dream... if it was her own- there would be details of her own as well.
One day you will know.

These are my original postings from April 21st - 24th 2010......
" I have never dreamed of this before, all I remember is, that I travelled up by rocket, I can remember seeing the rocket at my left side, I stood on the planet (moon) and someone told me to look at our world (earth) I remember also that it did look different to how it looks to us when we look up to the moon from our own planet (earth), so I do know that I was truly there. I have no Idea why I should have dreamed this nor what it would mean. "
" Thank you Spirit-Being for your insight into my unusual dream, I do also remember some more, but doesn't really make any sense, here goes. On standing on the ground I said we were the first on the moon, then changed that statement to "no were not" once I remembered other astronaut's had been there before us, all of a sudden the moon changed from dead to somewhat alive and brighter, near to me a brick walled alleyway appeared with a small market through the opening, I only saw one stall with canopy but was aware of more, then I spotted a black animal similar to a penguin, then I couldn't see it but my OH said yes there it is, it then ran passed me while I spoke to a woman to ask what it was called, she replied casually its a doolymoon or dookymoon, cant seem to remember which, after it ran passed I then I saw two of them inside a small horse/stable shed, where the top came down half way, I remember stroking the younger ones hand, I know it was the younger one because the other one (like a father to his son) rubbed its hand as if to say "see what shes doing" that means she's friendly. I dont remember any more after that. "

Vanilla2.......................another reply regarding your dream.
In our higher self- all lifetimes run concurrently- it is possible to tap into other lifetimes occasionally...her dream appears to be showing her-the life on the moon is interdimensional-there but not apparent at first view....the ship may be real or symbolic for her astral travels

Tell us about yourself : I’m a widow; I lost my spouse April 16, 1999 to a broken heart and Cancer. He was a Native American. I have lived on his Reservation in California for 37 years. We were married 23 years. We had two children, lost one to a drunk driver in 97 before my spouse died. I started my spiritual journey when son passed; but woke up to spirituality abruptly June 2009 when I had an event reading by James Van Praagh and he brought through eight deceased relatives. I would love to be a medium in the future, and share that spiritual connection with those who have lost. I take photos of spirits in clouds. One of my favorite spirit photographs at night is an apparition of a Native American Male.

You are welcome Vanilla2, she has a Facebook website that consists of people who post their orb photos and she checks some out for people and helps them see what she sees. That is how I learned to take orb photos.
I was on the town's Mural committee. We were assigned to repaint a church's 4 foot round window. I went after the meeting to take the photos and All that caught my eye were streaks of gold light that looked like hotdog links if you zoomed in. And the numbers 10-10-10. And orbs in it.
That got me on my path to take photos of orbs. I got a lot and she helped me see what was inside. I owe a lot to her teachings and observations.
If you would like her facebook page name just let me know.
She has many, many followers.
