awesome
I have slowly been reading through the site.
What can I say about the people who posted here in the past?
They are awesome.
Where have they all gone?Leaving a treasure chest of knowledge
for others to find.
Will any of them return?
Thanks
Stephen

Re: awesome
I think part of the problem is all aspects of the spiritual are discussed over and over all the time and eventually there is nothing left to discuss and then people get bored and move away. Another problem is that we cannot yet prove the spiritual and the spiritual also drags on and on and people get bored as messages given just drag on for years on end before they come true if the ever do and I can understand why people leave. We need some thing different that will make a difference to people understanding who and what they truly are and where they are going in the spiritual and that is what I believe apart from telling spirit off for not doing anything about it all

I too am awaiting anxiously to see who of our old members will return, or of whom are still distantly active.

Bill,as I see it ,is the difficulty that only to a limited extent can one
convey to others a spiritual experience.
We all have had personal experiences that have
impacted our lives, but the truth of these experiences
remain personal. For the listener they may be of great
interest, but more as a source of knowledge but not as a meaningful
event.
Personal experience is an essential element of growth
and development, and as each person is unique so is that
persons experience.
All I can do is swap experiences and try and convey
my own lessons or meanings understood
I find this very inhibiting.

Re: awesome
I totally agree with what you say you Stephen; I have sat in a number of circles and even ran a home circle but a time come when the groups turn the circles into a social evening instead and eventually members leave. It is a pity because a lot of good information came forth and finally spirit told me to look for spiritual friends on the internet and that is what I have done

Yes you are correct, we all learn from one another. The thing to me that makes spiritualism so interesting is the different way it is perceived by everyone. We all learn and grow from bits and pieces of knowledge we gather.
I, myself can't say enough about all the lessons I have received from being on spirit boards. I probably couldn't have afforded to pay for all those lessons!
I do hope some of the others who use to come here do return, I am enjoying reading their old post and there is a lot of knowledge there.
