Sex, The Internet & Its Spiritual Damage

Post by KnightSquared on December 2nd 2010, 5:49 pm

At first glance, not many people realise the affect internet porn has on society and the damage it is causing to the world around us, but the damage is very real. I am not talking about the porn industry as a whole, but of the internet porn industry.

Please read the following petition to understand how damaging internet porn really is to our planet and to consider signing.

Many thanks.

Hello KnightSquared Nice to Meet You Very Happy

I am Aware of the Damage Internet Porn & Porn in General has on Society, We all have choices, and some are very unhealthy and can stall Spiritual Growth. I feel we are all Divine Beings, we are much more than this Physical Body, although we all have urges its up to each one of us to make the right choices that help rather than hurt. We all know that when we make poor decisions that it can affect us Negatively, but is a Learning Experience for us, even though some may make the same mistake over and over, eventually you wake up & make much better decisions. I have went through this exact thing, and still struggle with it today. It has never made me feel any better but actually worse, it has always kept me in an Illusion that makes it difficult to see through. There's always a Decision to be made, which one do we choose.

Giving in to Temptation or Practicing Temperance/Self Mastery!

I went to the link you posted but it seems the Petition is closed sorry for the late reply.

Many Blessings

The internet is a great invention, but along with many great inventions, comes its abuser's and its abuse's.

Very wisely put de-knots.

Pornography is a sin

Driven by their lust for pleasure and given the privacy and means with which to seek it, more and more people will give in to sexual weakness and addiction. This, in turn, will destroy many relationships and prevent meaningful relationships from developing. It will impoverish and warp many who can’t stop themselves from seeking more and more perverse porn to try to satisfy their deepening addiction.

But pornography isn’t just a problem for those who succumb to its addictive influence. According to Jesus, the viewing of pornography is a sin.

Early in His public ministry, Jesus explained that “whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart” (Matthew 5:28). The seventh of God’s Ten Commandments says, “You shall not commit adultery,” and the 10th tells us not to covet, which includes extramarital sexual lust (Exodus 20:14, 17). And let’s be honest. People view pornography because it does create lust.

I'm guilty for sure, sometimes it can be a ravenous beast.

(Temptation) --> (Lust) --> (Addiction)...

one thing i know is Love & Commitment is the Ultimate Relationship, what better relationship than a couple Loving each other Unconditionally. Hug

Love --> Real Loving Hugs

Addiction to Lust --> Illusion Flamed

Many Blessings

I do agree about the looking in lust is adultery...

When a woman knows and feels...
I mean is witness to seeing how
focused her man is on another
female.... it can be the end right there....
There is almost no excuse for his behavior
or vice versa. When one is looking elsewhere
they are missing out on what they already
started to build. Users/Abusers Beware!

A woman gives up her "sanity" by
loving her man and nobody is
invincible - bottom line.
How we respect or disrespect is all Relevant
in a monogamous relationship.... it's not easy
but the ride could be very worth the memories.........
Surf

RESPECT is something not every man and woman
will bring with them so INDIVIDUALLY each and
every woman has to ACT accordingly to their
commitments. With Divorce available it
has been very difficult for some couples. Yet
divorce is a healthier alternative to death... Sad
As a "modern" civilization based on traditional
mistakes we are supposed to be understanding
but it makes ones blood boil that "a commitment"
that is so obvious isn't practiced every moment of
ones life. I'm referring to a couples' relationship.

Life is Very Sticky......
Peep Overboard!
