The other site you refer to is back up again, although a little sick (the chat function is still down and many of the old members have to re-register)...however, that doesn't stop us from using this and that one together...I think it will add many demensions to our search. We all feel this way sometime or other .... I know I have felt on a down slope sometimes, but it does help when you can feed off others positive energies. Thats why I like forums such as this, because if you feel you are struggling spiritually at any point, there is always someone out there with a positive outlook which can inspire you, or remind you of the path you may have once trod.

I am a firm believer in things happening for a reason. Although there is bound to be a lot of randomness in life, I still believe that a lot of our life experiences, are for a reason.

I think we may have even chosen certain things to experience ourselves in this life, from before we were even born, i.e. who our parents would be, where we are born, and maybe what trials or lessons in life we might face to help us in our spiritual growth.

I know that some of the things that have happened to me and my family, over the past couple of years, have made me question this whole topic.

One of my most favouite sayings is " everything happens for a reason"
along with " what goes around, comes around "

Hello to everyone

Just thought I would introduce myself to the forum.

I am a happily married man, who, for various life changing reasons over the past couple of years, have been on a personal spiritual journey.

I have always been an open minded person, and am enjoying reading about various faiths, beliefs and teachings. I was raised a Christian (Church of England) and believe in God/Creator/Source, or whatever you wish to call Him. I am finding my own way or path at the moment though, as I am not an organised religion sort of person.

Anyway, I hope to make a lot of new friends here, and contribute in a positive way if I can to the forum.
